Overview
antcpu is a global internship challenge program. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you register or participate, how we use it, and what rights you have over it.
We keep this simple because we mean it. Your data is not a product. It exists only to run the program.
What We Collect
When you register for the challenge, we collect:
- First name and last name (last name is optional)
- Email address
- Country
- Timezone
- Track selection (Development, Marketing, or Not Sure)
- Your response to "Why are you here?" and AI usage frequency
- An optional portfolio URL (GitHub, LinkedIn, or similar)
We do not collect payment information. The challenge is free.
How We Use It
Your information is used solely to:
- Manage your challenge participation and progress
- Send you a confirmation email and program updates
- Display your public profile (first name and last initial only)
- Provide references if you reach 55%+ progress
- Invite you to the antcpu Builders Network
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose outside of running the antcpu program.
What's Visible Publicly
The following is visible to other challengers and visitors:
- Your first name and last initial (e.g. "Antony C.")
- Your track (Development, Marketing, or Not Sure)
- Your progress through the challenge
- Work you submit, displayed on the Wall of Work
Your full name and email address are never displayed publicly. Ever.
Storage & Security
Registration data is stored securely. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information from unauthorised access or disclosure.
antcpu does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your data at any time
- Withdraw from the challenge without explanation
To exercise any of these rights, email us at antcpu@gmail.com. We'll respond within 7 days.
Your Work
You retain full ownership of all original work you create during the challenge.
By submitting work, you grant antcpu a non-exclusive licence to display it publicly as part of the program — for example, on the Wall of Work. antcpu will always credit you by your first name and last initial.
We will never claim ownership of your work or use it commercially without your explicit permission.
